Meet MikeBorn and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Mike has owned and operated a number of successful businesses over the past 25 years. Among them a sporting goods franchise, a photography gallery and 'Mike's Tackle Shop', a specialty fishing store that combined his business expertise with his passion for Atlantic salmon fishing.
Mike has set many fishing records over the years, and as a result, has certainly earned his reputation as one of the best anglers in the world. He's even had the opportunity to "wet a line" with celebrities such as Robert Duval, Timothy Dalton and Dennis Leary.
Mike currently lives in Halifax with his wife, Ann, and their children, Mark and Heather. He is past Director of the Nova Scotia Salmon Association and has co-chaired their annual fundraising dinner and auction.
